Dave just started coaching David's Jr Jazz basketball team.
It was so cute (and funny) to watch them play. Imagine a bunch of 6 year olds who have never played before. It was fun!

For those of you who know Dave, you know this is his dream come true (sarcasm)!
He loves other people's kids.
Especially a bunch of "annoying" 6 year olds who sit down in the middle of the court in the middle of the game when they get tired, or run off the court to get a drink when they are thirsty!!! He said he now knows why Jerry Sloan is always so upset and swearing when he coaches ;).
I know there was some sarcasm there, but seriously Dave did awesome, and he does LOVE his son! All the boys and one girl were fun to watch. Go little David! He had a blast!!!

I'm really proud of my son. I think he is a great Dad. When Truman sees these kinds of pics and hears some of the things Dave does with the boys, he comments that Dave is a much better Dad than he used to be. Sometimes he's too hard on himself because he did try hard. He didn't have the best role model, though. His own dad just had to work so hard, he didn't have much time to play.
