David and I were talking about his teachers today and he asked about some of mine from Elementary school... then he said "are they all dead?"

Silly son, I'm not that old!!!

Mills Family said...: hahaha! Oh, why do our kids think we are ancient! Jayme was just talking to me on this subject yesterday while she and I were at walmart doing some grocery shopping. Let me remind you that my Jayme is 14 years old now and she knows all there is to know in the universe :) So, she starts telling me that I should stop saying things that aren't my age-appropriate since I'm an old woman. I asked her what I should stop saying and she said, "oh, words like "hubby" instead of "husband" ....and "lol"...when you write it in a text or email". She said, "mom, you are just trying to be cool and like a teenager or something when you use words like that." hahaha! Oh gosh! I told her that I'm not as old as she thinks! hahaha.
