Kids say the darndest things...

I had to post Joeys latest since I posted Davids. They are so cute! Today I took them to the city pool to swim in Cedar and there is a large water slide there. Well you must be atleast 48 inches to ride and Joey (or David for that matter) is too small. He started going up the stairs to the slide and I found him there with a mischievious look on his face. I told him he was too small to ride the slide so he came down and got back in the pool. About fifteen minutes later he got out and headed toward the slide, he said "i'm bigger now". Sorry Joey still not big enough, then he said, "please I be your best best friend!" Man that one tugs at my heart strings, but there was nothing I could do. Gotta love 'em!

Just a quickie...

So I am sitting here reading my family and friends blog sites and crying and laughing with little David on my lap. He touches my sides (love handles) and says "mom it feels like you're fat right here". I said that's cuz I am. He said "then we need a pin for you". I said why and he said "to poke it" and then made this noise like air was being let out of a balloon. Oh if it was only that easy.... Just thought I would share some humor for the morning.

Fishing....

Now that I have the pictures uploaded I'm not sure where to write to make the writing match. Oh well, here goes. We went to a family reunion at Fish Lake this weekend with Dave's family. Dave was so happy to take his boys fishing (living the dream). This is Dave, his Dad Truman, Joey, David and our nephew Daniel. They all went fishing and now Dave is filleting (is that a word) the fish. Creating Memories....
I could not get both boys to look at me to save their lives. Oh well. They were more interested in the bigstick popsicles their Dad had just bought them. Either way though they sure make cute campers.
You should have seen David Jr seconds before this throwing a fit because somehow in opening his bigstick he broke it and when he opened it half dropped on the ground and the other half got thrown in the dirt cuz he wanted a new one. What a mean mom though, I just made him clean it off in the water and eat the half with the stick still in it.

Amazed...

I'm ever amazed at how much I feel the spirit when I look at this blog. This is my cousin Brittany and her family. I am so thankful that she keeps up on this because for some reason we just can't connect over the phone. I think about and pray for them daily, constantly. I love you!

In other blogs that I look at I see cute pictures and wonderful organization, well sorry I'm not that learned in the blogging arena! I'm just going to tell you what these picts are. I know they are not the best, but I guess this is kind of a scrapbooking kind of journaling thing, right? So first is a pict. of me and my friend Lindsey, it's not the best picture, I know but she is a great friend and I wanted to share... next is our kids on the 3rd of July, we did fireworks, and Tyler Lindseys husband made all the kids glow in the dark glasses. The next picts, go with the 4th pictures...we had a bbq at our house with our siblings and parents (it has become a tradition since St. G is just too hot!) and the last picture is our boys and some of their cousins dressed up in Halloween costumes on the fourth of July. LOL

I'm a new blogger????

Well I am going to leave this for now. I have spent a lot of time on this blogging stuff already this morning. I'll adjust and add my friendly bloggers later. I just changed the template and it erased a bunch of stuff so I tried to fix it, but it is not complete. Check back later for more fun....
