Family Time!

So all day Saturday little David kept asking "when can we carve our pumpkins?" so finally around four o'clock, after our lazy Saturday we took the boys outside to do just that, carve pumpkins. The cool thing about these pumpkins is that we grew them in our own garden at our "cedar home". There were just enough pumpkins for the four of us to have our own. This first picture is of the boys drinking their hot chocolate. Dave is such a good dad and husband, he went inside and came out with hot chocolate for all of us, its cold and its Fall in Provo.
Joey and his pumpkin "Jack".
David Jr. and his Jack-o-lantern.
Momma and boys.
Daddy and boys.

Hi Marilla! Those Fall pics are so cute with your boys and their pumpkins! I've been thinking that I need to go with my two kids and pick out pumpkins also soon! And Ya, I know how hard it is to see your little one's go off into their big schools alone and into their own world! It is good to know that i'm not the only mom with tears in my eyes again this year! Jayme is 6th grade and her first year at the big middle school! It is hard every morning to watch her walk into the school and see the big doors closing behind her! Trey is all alone at his school too (without his sister this year). He is still so little to be going off without mommy it seams! But he feels like a big old 1st grader! I love your conference pics also! What a great experience for you guys! Lis
